On the surface it appears like that is what we do… we do in fact sell products, and offer a business opportunity…
… but anyone can do that…
… and those that do JUST that end up struggling in network marketing…
That’s because network marketing is not about offering a product or an opportunity… Network Marketing is about becoming of service to others beyond thought of personal gain!
Consider this…
Most beginner network marketers want to know ONE thing: How do I make money in this business…
In their mind, they have to sponsor the next person in order to make money…
They see people as cash in their pockets and not as people…
They think of every possible way to pitch their opportunity and offer their products with the ultimate goal of making money through them…
The #1 thing I have noticed that has turned struggling mlm reps into success stories is that they began to be of service to others without expecting anything in return…
Top producers approach this business different… they want to know ONE thing: How can I help you make money in this business…
So let’s look at beginner VS top producer…
How do I make money in this business VS How can I help you make money in this business
Does this way of thinking shine a little light? Do you see how much easier it is to go to people and ask how can I help you achieve what you want versus asking them to help you achieve what you want?
It should be clear that helping others and being of service to others is a much easier way to build a business…
That’s one thing…
The second thing I’ve noticed from successful top producers with huge mlm downlines is that they are genuinely interested in the people they sponsor…
This makes it easier for them to follow up and stay in touch with prospects… when you are genuinely interested in people it’s like meeting a friend who likes the same team and now you are getting together to watch a game and have some drinks…
When you meet people who are interested in building an mlm business and you both want to find ways to succeed, it becomes easy to talk and share ideas, talk about struggles and past experiences…
Most network marketers go straight into qualifying a prospect and pitching the business opportunity… they are focused on making money…
Building an mlm downline is not just about growing your own residual income…
Top producers that build big mlm downlines are doing so because they care about the people they are sponsoring…
They know who they are sponsoring and many times are forming business partnerships with those people… through networking and working together as a team, top producers are able to accomplish more than if they were to work alone…
Which brings me to the third thing… Top Producers treat this business as a Team Sport…
Most network marketers struggle in this business for one reason… they are trying to build the business alone…
Worse… they don’t have a good sponsor leading them and showing them the way to build this business…
They don’t have someone they can ask: What’s the next step?
They don’t have someone to emulate and duplicate…
When you have people around you that are having success in this business and you are able to talk to them and ask for advice, your success will be almost inevitable…
If it works for them, it will work for you… if a new McDonald’s opens up and it operates the same way as the others, it is going to make money…
You just need the right training and step by step procedures…
Now it’s important to keep these three things in mind, because in the end what you are really doing is building a team… you’re not sponsoring new reps into your downline, but you are building a team…
A team where you are genuinely interested in every member…
… and because you are interested in every member you are going to be of service to them and ask yourself: How can I help you succeed and get what you want?
