Using Google Adwords To Turbo Charge Your Business
Everybody likes free stuff, so why would someone contribute to Google’s multi-billion dollar empire by placing ads with them in the first place?
Well, anyone who understands how Google AdWords works knows it is key to building your business online. One of the topics I cover and definitely one I’m truly passionate about is direct response marketing.
Direct response marketing is about positioning yourself in front of targeted prospects (people likely to be interested in your product/service based on demographics, age, sex, etc.) via a medium known to reach this targeted market and deliver a message which is likely to compel that targeted prospect into action.
For example, someone who reads the real estate classified section in the newspaper, is very likely to be a home buyer. (Yep, this is pretty common sense, but I too heard it for the first time at some point in my life) So, this becomes a great medium to reach homebuyers. Knowing this, your job is now to deliver a message that is highly likely to compel the home buyer into action.
You’ll see dozens of other ads that say “must sell home”, “I’m the #1 agent in town”, etc, which is akin to the home based business industry ads that read “best home based business”, “best compensation plan”. They are all the same and don’t really compel the prospect into action.
Instead you want to differentiate yourself by offering information that only an expert can provide. “how to buy a foreclosed home with no money down” is a strong offering that is likely to compel a home buyer into action.
So let’s tie this down with Google AdWords…
Imagine someone going into Google and typing the word “Home Based Business Review”. Ask yourself, what kind of person is this? Compare that person with “start a home based business” or “Join a home based business”. Can you see how someone that types in these words is more likely to take action?
One letter in a keyword or a word in a phrase can change entirely what the person is looking for and therefore the target market. What most Google Advertisers don’t get is that they can bid only on keywords that convert. Many spend fortunes trying to bid on keywords that don’t convert only because it sounds relevant to what they sell.
If you do nothing else but clean up your keyword list you’ll be ahead of most advertisers on Google because you’ll be paying only when buyers click on your sites and not when curious people click on your site.
The last part to talk about is… if you can reach your buyers directly and you can come up with the right message to compel them into action, then the only reason you are not using Google AdWords is FEAR. With Google I can track down how much I spent on marketing and how much I made back. If my campaigns are profitable why would I stop them? Most of my traffic comes from search engines and social media, but the thing about Google Adwords is that it gives me the confidence I need to make sure that my landing pages convert and my sales letters work. In other words, if I can’t make my sales funnels work in Google, they are very likely to not work at all and all this blogging would be pointless.
Once you find the keywords to build your mlm business through Google AdWords, you can focus on getting more traffic off Google using those same keywords and you’ll have a turbo charged business.
