Reason You Can’t Succeed In MLM Or Get A Good Job
The days of job security and company loyalty are slowly going away. Sure, it is still ideal for a company to be able to keep a great employee who helps them make a ton of money, but what does it take to become that one person?
The reason why most people can’t seem to get a good job or succeed in MLM is because they lack one of the most important skills to have in life… the ability to sell themselves.
I don’t care what your profession is, you must be able to sell yourself to others so they give you money, simple as that. In MLM, many companies have great products… I mean products that are supposed to sell themselves. You and I both know, that there is no such thing as a product that sells itself.
What happens when a product that has the potential to sell itself comes on the market, is that distributors appear out of nowhere and now you need a reason why people should buy through you and not the other thousand distributors who are offering the same thing you are.
People who fail in MLM often times don’t figure this out and then they try to go back and get a job. Now, they are not selling an MLM product, they are selling themselves. And because they haven’t taken the time to learn this simple skill, they say the same thing that everyone is saying “Great employee, looking for great company with potential for growth”.
It almost sounds like “best product, best compensation plan”.
It’s vague, it’s just non sense.
I beat my head against the wall trying to figure out why people can’t understand the simple concept of good salesmanship, which starts with dealing with the right audience. Here it goes…
The first step in sales is to figure out who is buying your product.
I’m talking about figuring out the needs of that prospect… so write down who is buying your product. If your mouth is open and you have a blank duh type of stare, you need to work on yourself immediately.
Who is buying your product?
Next, where are these people going to find the product or get more information on the product?
Last, find out what they are looking for in the product (reasons why they would buy) and come up with an offer.
This is it. This really is all you need to know to be a good salesperson.
Someone is hungry…. you offer them a meaty hamburger with all the amenities. (Guess who does that?…. Micky D’s)
Oh wait, your crowd is a college student who smokes weird stuff after class and gets really hungry… offer them fresh hot pizza delivered in 30 minutes or less. (You got it… domino’s)
Your crowd is a generation who needs antioxidants and want to feel better? (offer them your power juice or pills with powerful antioxidants).
I just covered about half the MLM business industry so there you go…
