My Friends and Family “Blackballed” Me…. After I Told Them About Liberty League International
You step out of the first meeting head over heels with the simple idea of earning “residual income” just by sharing with others how they can earn “residual income“….
Of course you run and make a list of all the people you care about (including friends you have hardly kept in touch with, but are now ever so more important). You take it a step further and put a star on your top 10 people you know would really love this company.
You start dialing for dollars.
“Hi it’s me, blah, blah…” you beat around the bush for a couple of minutes and suddenly…
Bam! You drop the MLM Bomb.
“Uh, well, hmms” and all other kinds of hesitations follow your silence.
You get frustrated, but your upline tells you it is nothing more than being outside of you comfort zone.
Really?
Getting ruthlessly rejected and “blackballed” by your own family means you are outside of your comfort zone? No way, you have been lied to.
I was blackballed by my own family when I told them about my income opportunity. Your friends will know as soon as you join an MLM that they are somewhere in your sales funnel. The relationship will be suspect.
Worse, you are probably feeling bad that you got your really good friend involved in this crazyness. You dread waking up another day to go talk to people about the “opportunity”. You begin to wonder how people can live with themselves working this business. You do not know if you should keep the “auto ship” or not. You have already spent so much money and you are pulling your hair!
HELP!
I don’t know how to answer those annoying objections of “How much money have you made?”, “Is this a pyramid scheme?”, “I don’t like to sell”.
Now what?
Did you really fail at something so simple? It is a shock to fail at anything.
The moment you stop hard selling your opportunity you will be liberated and will actually sponsor more people into your business. It is very counter intuitive which is why few people ever achieve success in the industry.
It’s a weight off your shoulders when you don’t have to worry about mentioning the “opportunity” to everyone with a pulse, yet you have people calling you everyday to hear about it.
I have made myself the promise that I will not do any of the following….
I will not cold call
I will not bug my friends and family again
I will burn my names list
Ever since I’ve been able to enjoy my social life again not having to worry about sneaking in my ‘opportunity’ in conversation. I suggest you do the same.
