MonaVie – Do We Really Need To Shed More Light On Their Business Ethics?
For a company which grew at an unbelievable rate of lightning pace, MonaVie may have found there is only one thing that seems to travel faster than the speed of light, and that would be the superfluous spread of bad news.
They have always seemed to contend with allegations of pyramid scheme scams, product capabilities, and excessive pricing regarding their line of açai berry fruit juice, but with a landmark result of reaching the end of a prosperous five year plan, the multi-level marketing company still look set to maintain the continual physics required of being a fierce competitor within the industry.
There is no doubt that all MLM companies are victimized by bad press at some point during their time of occupation in business, and none more so than those who tout wellness products that exhibit claims and promises subject to credibility. A current trend in a line of products promoted by numerous manufacturers which are based upon the primary use of the Brazilian açai berry, have certainly risen more than just a few eyelids and expectations among the consumers.
The apparently high antioxidant properties of the berry as an ingredient to various nutritional supplement fruit juice products, have left MonaVie wide open to criticism within the market, and possibly carrying the brunt of many exaggerated assertions due to their popularity associated with its use.
It are these damning claims however that are the sole reason which can jeopardize a company’s future, with countless legal issues and unwarranted lawsuits, fundamentally leading towards ill reputation and financial ruin. Unfortunately what many people fail to realize though, is that it is very rarely the company itself who are the one making these overrated statements of health enhancing attributes. With MonaVie being the focus of attention, they predominantly promote their açai berry juice as being a nutritional drink which can benefit towards a healthier lifestyle.
Nevertheless, there are some distributors of dubious character who take advantage of the alleged beneficial properties and twist the facts around accordingly, thus directly promoting MonaVie juice as a cure or treatment for various topical ailments and diseases in order to increase personal sales.
This system of abuse and misleading promotional testimonials have undoubtedly left MonaVie to face consequences at an elevated degree of controversy, with which company executives are fully aware of but unfortunately find difficult to control. The ease of technology and freedom of communication has made it practically impossible to weed out the perpetrators, other than ultimately finding the culprits through the adverse delay of complaints and expelling them as registered distributors.
But before the damage is done, these immoral practices of falsified guarantees along with fabricated quotes of endorsement even from popular television celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey and Dr. Mehmet Oz regarding açai berry products, have not only landed MonaVie in hot water with federal agencies and courts of justice, but has had just as much effect with regards to their wide scope of competition.
The MonaVie wellness and stamina however seems to continue onwards and upwards despite incidents of bad news. For a MLM company which experienced such rapid growth and booming sales leading to a high profile stature, one can undeniably agree that that they may always be susceptible to scrutiny in the public eye so long as their success remains constant.
Whether or not MonaVie products are of true value and their compensation plan opportunities of reasonable reach is another story altogether, although it does prove that no matter the outcome, they always seem to be worth a mention in advertising at no cost of their own.
