9 Simple Ways To Easily Generate FREE MLM Leads (pt1)

Written By: Jorge on September 7, 2009 No Comment

The internet has completely changed the network marketing industry. Buying expensive advertising and business opportunity leads is what drives most network marketers out of business while top sponsors keep enjoying growth in their business by simply taking advantage of the following media and implementing the simple strategies I’m about to go over….

First, let me write down the nine powerful mediums you are going to use to generate free MLM leads.

  1. Articles
  2. Press Releases
  3. Email Signatures
  4. Forum Signatures
  5. YouTube Videos
  6. Blogging
  7. Tweeter/Facebook
  8. Squidoos
  9. Free Classified Sites

Now before I go into detail, I’m going to cover some rules to keep in mind when using these mediums to generate leads, especially for the first eight.

These mediums are filled with network marketers who spam their contacts and therefore don’t get any results. If you want to generate leads from these sources, the first thing to keep in mind is that people don’t want to be sold. It is not uncommon to be on these sites and see people send messages that only pitch people or send people to a sales page or opt-in page with no information. What you must do to differentiate yourself is to offer free information and be genuine when helping others. The fastest way to succeed is to help others without asking for anything in return. So, let’s go over one by one….

Articles – A good way to use articles is to write about the product or service you are offering. You must be specific when describing the results. For example, if you are promoting a weight loss product, don’t say “X product is the best product I’ve tried”. Instead say something like “After trying countless products, diets, exercise routines, I came across X product and within 7 days I lost 13 pounds”. Of course, write only what’s true. What you are trying to do here is create a testimonial and give social proof. You should then include a link to a capture page that provides more information for those interested in learning more. (someone who clicks on a link should be highly qualified since they’ve read an article of interest.)

Press Releases – A press release is similar to an article in the way that you describe your service or product. The main difference is that instead of trying to create a testimonial, you are trying to announce some sort of news. There are two things you are trying to accomplish here. One is to target buyers directly as many readers are exactly that. The next is to get journalists to be interested in your news that they write an article on you which could mean free advertising on mass media. Again, you want to include links that take your readers to an opt-in page with more information.
