Why You Can’t Make Google AdWords Work
Google AdWords is one tough cookie to learn and master. For longer than I wanted, I threw away money at it not knowing what I was doing.
My clicks started at $1.00 and within days Google was asking me to pay $5.00 and up to $10.00 per click!
Damn that’s expensive… I thought.
I thought it was the competition out bidding me at first. Maybe some sort of conspiracy where Google wanted to know how much I was really able to pay. This was not the case.
Google has a self cleaning system so only the best marketers get in the game and stay in the game. If your ad cannot produce clicks, Google will ask you to pay more. If your ad does produce clicks, Google will reward you and actually charge you less!
I realized that paying more for clicks was simply mother nature’s way of slapping me in the face telling me to get my act straight and offer something compelling to my prospects. People are afraid of using Google AdWords because they don’t have a proven, money making sales funnel.
I know I didn’t at first.
The entire process of making Google AdWords work can be overwhelming, unless you learn the shortcuts from the experts. I did that and the results have been phenomenal.
If you can’t make your Google AdWords work, break your marketing into pieces. You start with the keywords you are bidding on. Move on to the ad. Make sure it is congruent with your offer and what you are selling. Go for an opt-in instead of a sale.
This takes time, patience and effort on your part. If you haven’t done this, it may just be why you are failing and let me tell you…. you are missing out!
