No one I’ve talked to that has failed or quit MLM said that they quit because they had too many people wanting to join their business opportunity…
Usually it’s the opposite… they couldn’t sponsor enough people and earn a good residual income…
Now let me get to the point… if you are serious about growing your network marketing business and growing your downline, then you must find the right prospects to talk to about your opportunity…
Who’s that prospect?
A person who is already interested in building a network marketing business… period!
Keyword: Already!
Most network marketers make the mistake of talking to everyone and anyone about their business opportunity… and then they come back and ask, what do I say to someone that tells me “they’ll never join one of those pyramid scheme things” or that “they don’t like to sell”… etc.
Trying to handle objections like this is like trying to sell a steak to a vegetarian…
A person must be already interested in what you have to offer… if you want to sell that steak, go to a steakhouse!
You job, whether you choose to accept it or not is going to be to network with other network marketers… or find those who are looking into joining an mlm company…
Go to the hangout places where you know you’ll find people who are already interested in joining and starting an mlm business…
Position yourself in front of these people and make them an offer they just can’t refuse…
Let me give you an example…
Who else would take time out of their busy day to go online and type in something like OrganoGold Reviews or join OrganoGold (or some other mlm company)?
The answer: someone who is already interested in joining that mlm company…
Who would get on face and click ‘like’ on an mlm company’s fan page?
The answer: someone who is already interested in being part of an mlm company or use the products…
See how easy it is to find these people?
Now the question is, “how do you attract these network marketers to get them to join your opportunity?”
Well, that’s not so easy and there is a bit of a catch 22…
If you have read what network marketing is all about you’ll know that your job is one of service… you are here to help others get what they want…
… and what most network marketers want is to succeed and grow their downline…
Your job is to help them do that…
The catch 22?
How are you going to help someone else be successful if you haven’t achieved any kind of success?
Well it all starts with having the right training and the right mentor… if you don’t have anyone who is coaching you and holding you accountable for your own success (and who has already had some success) then you need to find a new mentor… a new upline…
Then you should work on gaining skills which you can accomplish… like generating leads…
You don’t have to have sponsored a single soul or made a single penny on your mlm to be able to generate leads…
Now, the last thing I want to point out when it comes to generating leads is that generating leads is about filtering people who you DON’T want and keeping those who you do want…
Just because someone has already joined an mlm it doesn’t mean they are the people you want to have in your downline…
You want to have only the best… only those who are eager to learn and become better networkers… those willing to do the work necessary to grow a big upline…
Sadly, most network marketers are just not willing to do the work…
They may have good intentions, but their excuses rule over their dreams… they work long hours, they have kids to take care of when they come home, their spouse doesn’t approve, etc.
You can spend time convincing these people that if only they do the work, they wouldn’t have to worry about any of that… but again, it’s like trying to sell a steak to a vegetarian…
You want to sponsor people who are already interested and motivated to learn and do the work…
