9 Simple Ways To Easily Generate FREE MLM Leads (pt3)

Twitter & Facebook – This one is the one that’s screwed up the most. Writing a tweet (or something on your wall on Facebook) takes a few seconds, which allows for the marketer easier to spam and play a numbers game. Instead of doing what everyone else does, you should use this to simply give tips on a subject that relates to what your product does for your customer. You should also engage in conversation and get to know your “friends”. They will gladly retweet your tweets and keep you on their pages where their friends can see you and in turn you’ll get new friends. You should include a link on your bio section to take people to an opt-in page with more…… you guessed it, information. If you are going to include a link in your tweets (or wall), make sure that it’s going to a page that is helpful to your prospects if you want to sell on twitter.

Squidoo – If I have to explain how to use squidoo, you probably shouldn’t be using these mediums. Squidoo was built specifically for people to share their knowledge and expertise on a subject. So what you are doing here is to share your knowledge on a subject that is related to what your product will do for them. You’ll want to include links on your lenses and on your bio. Again these links should take prospects to opt-in pages that offer more information.

Free Classified Ads – Depending on your product you may be able to simply advertise your product/service for sale as people that are in classifieds are already looking to buy and don’t need as much information. They are ready to make a purchase. However, I’ve found that placing ads similar to my email/forum signature ads that offer more information works just as well, if not better.

The idea with all these methods and best practices is that, you are trying to position yourself as an expert and are allowing people to come to you instead of interrupting people with unwelcome sales pitches. You are trying to avoid being that pop-up window everybody hates and instead having people seek you out. Think about the person who picks up a newspaper and reads the real estate classifieds. To my knowledge, no one in their right mind looks at the real estate classifieds unless they are planning to buy a home. So the people going there, don’t need to be convinced of buying. You simply offer them more information on what your services will do for them and you’ll be more likely to get a client than if you try to convince them to buy a specific house or use your services.
