9 Simple Ways To Easily Generate FREE MLM Leads (pt2)

Email signatures – There are two segments here that I need to distinguish. One is having a targeted email list, and the other is having a non-targeted email list. If you have a non-targeted email list, your signature should be simply an offer for the reader to get more information on a subject related to what your product will do for them. So if you sell an weight loss product, don’t offer more information on the product itself, but rather offer something like “3 easy ways to lose weight without changing your exercise routine”. The idea here is that, someone who goes to the hardware store to buy a drill, doesn’t really want to buy a drill…. They want to make a hole, so you should tell them how to make a hole and reference your product as a tool they can use to make the hole.

For targeted email lists, your prospects should be halfway sold and email signatures are not necessary. Instead focus on delivering useful information and provide links to landing pages that have the information or a sales letter if you’ve delivered good information and they want to learn more.

Forum Signatures – The signature itself that you will use on a forum should be the same you use on your non-targeted email signatures. An offer for more information on a subject related to what your product will do for them. Your participation on the forum, however, needs to be genuine and you must provide good information and genuinely help others. Most forums will kick you out if you simply post something that is a sales pitch. The idea here is that, if you help someone with a problem, they will want to get to know you more, and since you are in a forum that deals with a related subject of what your product does for your prospects, they will see your signature and click on it.

YouTube Videos – The most successful videos I’ve created deal with giving away free information on a subject related to what my product will do for my prospects. So for example, I will create a video that tells people how to make a hole and reference my product as a tool I use to make the hole. I then include a link on the “description” box that takes people to a capture page with more information. I hope that by now, you are starting to see a pattern on what you’re doing with mediums like YouTube to generate leads. You are helping people without asking for anything in return.

Blogging – Follow the same guidelines as with video. Your blogs should be about subjects that relate to what your product does for your customer. Make sure that you use your authentic voice and be entertaining. Keep your blog posts between 300 and 500 words. It may be hard to write at first, but once you get started, writing gets easier and easier. It’s also good practice for writing articles and press releases. Your blog should also include links that take people to opt-in pages with more information your MLM prospects want. Notice I keep emphasizing more information on opt-in pages.
